As Geoffrey Chaucer said in 1374 – “all good things must come to an end.”
We got up Thursday morning, packed and headed for McDonalds for breakfast. The first ‘hiccup’ of the trip occurred when we had trouble finding Ray and Diana where they dropped off their rental car. The second was trying to find the U.S. Air terminal because we were driving in the rental car bus lanes. The third was when Sue and I said goodbye to Ray and Diana and headed into the terminal. About a minute later Diane came running after us asking for the keys to the car. I had both sets in my pocket 😦
The flight home was uneventful and it was great to have Kris, Shelby, Jolie & Winston meet us at the airport.
Looking back on the trip we saw some beautiful sights:
YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK
THE “SMURF TURF”
THE GRAND CANYON
However, the best part of all was the friends we shared our trip with:
THE MORAWSKIS (on the left)
AND LAST BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEAST – MY LOVELY TRAVELING COMPANION – SUEZ.
